RAYMOND (40s) is a loner obsessed with cleaning, which is reflected in his pristine house. His home is filled eclectic collection of various art paintings hanging in the walls all around. Raymond gets a call to 'walk dogs' for an upscale house, but when he shows up at the place, it turns out that no dogs are involved – his job is to clean the place after a double murder.
Here his cleaning obsession comes in handy and he leaves the house spotless. Before leaving he gets very interested in one of the paintings on the wall. Raymond's work and especially his loyalty is greatly appreciated by his boss, local community patron, winery owner, and top mobster, MIGUEL (40s).
Upon returning home Raymond is greeted by an unexpected guest – his niece MAY (15). The bruises on her body suggest she is not getting along with her father, Raymond's brother. He soon learns she is also fond of art albeit in a slightly different way – she loves doing graffiti.
They bond over Raymond's homemade video – he has invented his own line of cleaning products and has been trying to make a goofy video to promote it, and so May steps in and helps him to make it. Then they paint a picture together and talk. This idyllic moment does not last for too long as Raymond has to take yet another job.
This time, however, it's the body of a teenage girl. This propels Raymond to decide to quit the job, but Miguel, who meanwhile learned about May's existence, wants to hear none of it. Raymond has no choice but to keep going, and the jobs are getting more gruesome.
May's suspicion raised by Raymond's behavior leads her to follow him one day. After discovering what he's been doing she realizes he is not any better than her own violent father. They argue, May leaves, and Raymond believes it's for the best. But he is wrong.
At home he finds all the paintings destroyed and May in his bathroom with slit wrists. He takes her to the hospital and decides to finally confront his brother, but finds him dead in their old family house – apparently, May killed him in self-defense. For the last time, he cleans a murder scene.
May wakes up in the hospital with Raymond waiting for her. Using the evidence he collected on various jobs, he frames Miguel and the two street cleaners, who turn out to be his hitmen.
With May's help, Raymond is finally able to present his products in a real TV promo spot.
Apparently, it's so powerful it can clean even dry blood…
